Back in the early 2000s, I began investigating cannabidiol (CBD) and its potential for people and our beloved pets. I had been experiencing chronic pain for most of my life and nothing seemed to help. So after several misdiagnoses, I finally took my health into my own hands. At the same time, I was also helping my mother with dog rescues. She fosters and finds homes for several animals each year.

During my investigation into the matter, I saw how the majority of CBD companies were treating people and more importantly our pets! I couldn't accept the fact that too many people and animals were in situations where they needed love, genuine help, and compassion, and instead, we were being treated as sources of income by our doctors and vets.

Constantly being put off by these manufacturers' methods I decided to move to Colorado and begin my own CBD company.

I quickly began sourcing my own high-quality CBD hemp plants to grow and discovered just how difficult it was to find them. To make quality CBD products, you needed quality hemp plants. People weren’t using CBD-rich plants at the time but thankfully, I was lucky to have met someone who pioneered and bred one of the best CBD-rich hemp strains available.

Our friendship was built on the belief that we both wanted to make CBD more available, to do it in the best way we could, and to help as many people and animals as possible. Using organic practices, CBD-rich hemp, and safe extraction methods, we had done it.

We made the best CBD oil that was available! So I upped our production, started printed labels, and began spreading the word. Through that, Fully Activated was born, and now I have been making quality CBD oil with consistent results for over 10 years!

I would be remiss to not mention that it was my best friend, my great dog Buca, who not only inspired our Buca Biscuits but also inspired me as a person to create Fully Activated as a company.

Buca was never sick. She was on a daily regime of CBD from the time she was a pup until she died of old age. It breaks my heart to have lost her because like most dog owners, I wanted her to live forever. But I know she had a great life.

I miss her dearly but I know that she would be so happy with what I have been able to accomplish so far, and so it remains my mission to do what I can to make sure that you and all of your animals are happy and healthy.

Here at Fully Activated, we use a “farm-to-lab” small-batch approach, creating our Colorado-grown hemp CBD products within 15 miles of the farm. We keep our focus on educating and making quality CBD products accessible to every human and animal.
